I tried to fly.


Okay, actually I fell off a twelve foot balcony. Add my height to that and I fell about 18 feet onto a concrete floor.
The score...
3 broken ribs, 3 broken lumbar vertebrae, 2 broken toes, 1 broken metatarsal, 1 lacerated liver, and 1 partially collapsed lung (minor).

I spent 4 days in the ICU, though technically, the last day I was upgraded to Surgical status, they just didn't move me. When they did decide to move me, all the beds in Surgical were full, so I was actually in the Peds Unit for the last day. I had a lovely little room with a blue ceiling that had clouds painted on it. Perfect for me, since I'm obsessed with clouds.
I'm now recuperating at my sister's house.

Pretty unbelievable, I know.
I got to give a shout out to everyone who's thought of me, prayed for me, wished well for me, visited me, and especially the people who've done everything they could to help me out while I recover.
